Starting the New Year Prioritising You!

This new year is different to most and everyone is feeling a bit weird and out of sorts. With us all spending more time at home there’s a few things we can do to take care of ourselves.
  • Try and get out the house for at least 30 minutes of fresh air a day. It will take your mind off the day and create some separation from work and home.
  • Try to keep hydrated. You should aim to drink at least 1 litre of water a day. Drinking a lot of water can help improve your mood and keep your skin clear. 
  • Hot water with lemon is great source of vitamin C and a powerful antioxidant, this is the perfect way to start your morning. 
  • It’s important to celebrate the small wins in life, whether thats getting all you work for the day done or just cooking a healthy meal. Focusing on yourself and not comparing your success to others will benefit your mental health. 
  • Set realistic goals for the week. There's no need to beat yourself up for not completing everything, there’s always next week.
